High Deflection Machine Mounts
Cast Foot Mountings are the ideal choice for large reciprocating machinery and heavy duty industrial equipment. Using the rubber in Shear/ Compression they can accommodate high loads and provide excellent vibration reduction properties of up to 98%. The strong construction of the mounting ensures a safe, reliable product with extended service life and very high performance. Rectangular Sandwich Stud Mounts
Sandwich mountings are a simple design whereby the rubber section is sandwiched between a top and bottom metal plate. The mounting also incorporates an integrally bonded metal
interleaf which increases the vertical stiffness and maximum load capacity of the mounting, whilst leaving the horizontal stiffness relatively unchanged.The mountings can be used in Compression, Shear or a combination of both. For ultimate performance the mountings can be used in a “V” arrangement.

Rubber Rail Mounts
Heavy Duty and Robust - Rail Mountings are ideal for supporting heavy plant and machinery. They can be supplied in up to 2 meters in length, with top and bottom metals, or bottom metal only. Suitable for use in Compression, Shear, or a combination of both.

What are machinery mounts?
Machinery mounts are heavy-duty anti-vibration components that sit between industrial equipment and its base or chassis. What is the difference between cast foot, sandwich and rail mounts?
Cast Foot mounts use rubber in shear and compression for high load capacity with excellent vibration reduction, and they are typically the first choice for large reciprocating machinery and generator sets. Sandwich mounts have a rubber section sandwiched between two metal plates with a bonded interleaf, giving a high vertical-to-horizontal stiffness ratio that suits engine mountings and vibratory screens. Rail mountings are long-format mountings that spread load across a wider footprint, often used for heavy plant and power generation equipment.
What does up to 90% vibration reduction mean?
The figure refers to the proportion of equipment vibration that is isolated from the supporting structure when the mount is correctly specified. Achieving up to 90% vibration reduction depends on matching the mount to the operating frequency, load and installation geometry of the machine. The right specification at the design stage is what unlocks the upper end of that performance.
Can machinery mounts be used on mobile equipment?
Yes. Our Cast Foot mountings can be supplied with fail-safe stops, which are designed to limit movement during transport or extreme shock events and prevent the equipment from separating from the chassis. This makes them suitable for mobile generator sets, mobile compressors and similar applications.
