Male Male Bobbin Mounts
Male Male Bobbin Mounts are a low cost solution to reducing vibration and shock. They can be used in either Compression or Shear or a combination, and are available with various thread configurations.
Our male male bobbin mounts feature male studs on both sides of the mount for introduction to a female fixing. Normally used when there is access on both sides for a threaded nut. They are used throughout industry and within a wide range of applications, male male bobbin mounts aim to reduce shock and vibrations which could cause damage or instability.

Male Female Bobbin Mounts
Male-Female Bobbin Mounts offer a cost-effective solution for minimising vibration and shock. They can be utilised in compression, shear, or a combination of both, and come in a range of thread configurations.
If the fixing thread length is not defined or access is limited at one side of the bobbin, then the Male Female bobbin can be secured via the female thread with a socket screw. Female-Female Bobbin Mounts provide an affordable solution for reducing vibration and shock. Suitable for use in compression, shear, or a combination of both, they are available with a variety of thread configurations.

Waisted Bobbin Mounts
Waisted Bobbin Mounts are ideal for applications where the predominant force or vibration is in the lateral direction. By design, the waisted bobbins provide a low shear stiffness which provides more deflection and an increased level of vibration reduction in the lateral direction.
The Wasted Bobbin Mounts range is available in various sizes and thread configurations. Stainless Steel metals and Oil Resistant / High Temperature rubbers are available on request.

Hexagon Bobbin Mounts
Hexagon Bobbin Mounts are manufactured with hexagonal end metals to allow the fitter to grip the mounting with a spanner to avoid twisting of the rubber during installation.
Mountings can be used in Compression, Shear or a combination of both and can accommodate compression loads from 4kg to 110kg per mounting.
Hexagonal bobbins are available in various sizes and thread configurations. Stainless Steel metals and Oil Resistant / High Temperature rubbers are available on request.

Profile Bobbin Mounts
Profiled Bobbin Mounts are ideal for applications where high dynamic forces are applied, particularly when being used in Shear or Shear Compression. The oversized end metals allow for an improved bonded interface between the rubber and metal, increasing the fatigue life when the parts are used for high dynamic applications.
